Introducing Future Leaders to the Water Industry
2026 Application Deadline: April 17th What is InFLOW? InFLOW stands for Introducing Future Leaders to Opportunities in Water and was conceived by the Water Environment Federation to introduce promising students from underrepresented groups to water industry careers. VWEA and VA AWWA’s InFLOW program promotes diversity and inclusion by engaging participants in events and networking that strengthen interest, employment opportunities, and long-term success in the water sector. Students are introduced to the water industry through virtual and in-person programming, including a workshop focused on:
Students attend the VWEA & VA AWWA Joint Annual Meeting (WaterJAM) at no cost, including travel, lodging, registration, and meals. InFLOW invites sophomore and junior students from historically underrepresented groups attending Virginia colleges to:
