Customer Service Committee

 
The Customer Service Activities Committee works to promote and encourage sound customer service at Virginia utilities. For more than 35 years, the committee has staged the Annual Customer Service Workshop, which provides valuable training to over 100 attendees. This event, which draws customer service representatives, supervisors, and managers, educates customer service professionals from various utilities about the latest innovations in customer service. Additionally, the workshop provides a tremendous opportunity for networking and discussion of issues faced by utilities. In addition to local customer service professionals, utility representatives from Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, and California have attended past workshops.
