The Water Resources Department is seeking a highly motivated individual with interpersonal skills, and mechanical aptitude to perform wastewater treatment plant operations with a team-based environment.
Salary: $29,328.00 - $51,292.80 Annually

Entry level salary is $14.10/hour for candidates with no experience. Salary is negotiable for candidates with wastewater experience and State wastewater license. Position offers a 5-tier paid progression program based on State water licensure program, and demonstration of operational proficiencies with training provided. Duties include:
- Observes and learns all phases of plant operation, proper use of related equipment, and testing procedures.
- Makes regular tours of plant equipment to insure proper options.
- Maintains logs of all pertinent operational events and chemicals used, and records readings from meters and instruments.
Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Semi-skilled mechanical and/or lab work, supplemented by post-secondary courses in science, math, engineering or plant operations highly desired.
