- Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working as an instrumentation technician in an industrial environment (i.e., paper, refining, chemical, or power industries); or equivalent combination of accepted education, training and experience.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Experience with SCADA and PLC systems, including programming experience.
- Knowledge in MS Suite applications and computer program applications appropriate to the position.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other workplace safety programs.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/certificate from an instrumentation training program/technical school.
- Completion of study in electrical, mechanical, SCADA control systems, or other associated trade.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience operating and programming SCADA equipment at a water treatment and/or wastewater treatment plant.
- Supervisory experience in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures and tracking.
- Process control knowledge of water/sewer pumping operations.
- Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and safe driving record.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
