The Publications Committee is tasked with publishing the Section magazine Tap Into Virginia on a quarterly basis. The committee is responsible for selecting a theme for each edition, developing and editing articles, photographing VA AWWA events, and other tasks required to generate an informative and interesting publication.
This leadership position assists the Publications Chair with:
- Leading committee meetings when the chair is unavailable
- Reviewing articles for the quarterly Tap into Virginia magazine publication
- Ensuring articles are reviewed by assigned committee members by deadlines to ensure timely publications.
Anticipated time commitment: 2-3 hours per month
Term: 2 years as vice-chair, then rolling into the Chair role.
