Production Administrator

Under limited supervision, provides leadership, overall administration and technical expertise for the Waterworks Production Division

Responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the Production Division including budgeting, purchasing, and financial transactions, staff organization and development, performance evaluations, employee relations, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities. Evaluates the need to fill vacant positions and recommends changes to allocated positions and divisional structure as needed. Researches and prepares recommendations and reports for the department director. Oversees the daily operation Water Treatment and Distribution System to include the Lee Hall and Harwood’s Mill surface water treatment plants, two groundwater wells in upper York County, raw and finished water pumping and transmission facilities, and the residuals program to ensure efficient operations and conformance with established treatment and operational goals, water quality, and regulatory standards. Establishes a quality control and quality assurance program including laboratory standards, statistical analysis, quality control check samples, spiked samples, and split samples. Oversees technical specifications and work processes related to the design, installation, and maintenance of all Waterworks’ mechanical/structural facilities. Oversees the daily operation of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system

 

The City offers a very competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The salary range is $80K - $139K DOE.
