WAVE Committee WaterJAM Scholarships

The Joint VA AWWA | VWEA WAVE (Welcoming and Valuing Everyone) Committee provides annual scholarships to support water professionals in their professional development.  These scholarships aim to make WaterJAM accessible to everyone, eliminating the financial burdens that attending a conference can bring.
 
Open Faucet Scholarship
 
This program offers two (2) scholarships for individuals working in non-traditional areas of the water industry to attend the WaterJAM conference. Non-traditional areas of the water industry include: administrative, communications/public information, customer service, education, financial operations, human resources, information technology, leaderships/management, legal, and safety.
 
The scholarships covers conference registration fees, hotel costs, and travel expenses up to $500.
 
The deadline for applications for WaterJAM 2026 is July 17, 2026.
 
      
 
 
 
Women in Water Scholarship
 
This program offers two (2) scholarships for women working in the water industry to attend the WaterJAM conference. 
 
The scholarships can cover conference registration fees, hotel costs, and travel expenses up to $500.
