Plant Operations Committee is charged with developing educational
and training opportunities, promoting professionalism, and
fostering communication to benefit water treatment plant
administrative, operational, and maintenance personnel.
Each year, the committee stages two major events: the Senior
Operators' Forum (July), and the Plant Operations Conference
(October). Additionally, the Plant Operations Committee
developed the Section's Code
of Ethics for Water Works Professionals, has held Gravity
Filter Maintenance Workshops, contributes to the Newsletter,
and holds the annual TOP OPS competition (click here
