The
objective of the Education Committee is to identify, coordinate,
promote and sponsor educational activities of the Virginia
Section AWWA. The Education Committee is a member of the
Education and Public Affairs Council.
The
Education Committee sponsors, co-sponsors, coordinates and/or
provides support for the following assignments/projects:
- AWWA
Satellite Teleconferences: The Committee
sponsors and coordinates the AWWA satellite teleconference
held twice annually in March and November.
- Section
Activities Clearing House:
The Education Committee serves as a clearinghouse
to ascertain that there are no conflicts among scheduled
activities.
- Section
"Activity" Calendar:
The Committee prepares and distributes a calendar
of events to the membership at large.
