| The Virginia Section
Newsletter is published quarterly to inform members,
local and state officials, and elected representatives about
water supply issues in Virginia. In addition to water-related
feature articles, each issue of the Newsletter
includes key Section news, such as: information on committee
activities, special events such as seminars or training,
scholarship announcements, member news, utility news, regulatory
news, calls for papers, and updates on Section business.
Submission Guidelines
Theme
Each issue of the Newsletter has a theme
and includes approximately five feature articles related
to the theme. The Newsletter Committee selects the theme
for each issue. However, other VA AWWA committess are encourage
to suggest themes and submit related articles. |

Content
Feature articles pertaining to the selected theme should generally
be 800-1600 words in length. Electronic files (WordPerfect, MS
Word, etc.) are helpful, but are not required. VA AWWA members
are also encouraged to submit significant news related to Section
activities or water-related developments in Virginia.
Graphics
Accompanying photos and graphics are welcome. Photos can be color
or black & white prints, and can be returned upon request.
Scans and digital photography may be submitted, but prints are
preferred. Negatives and slides will not be accepted. Please include
captions and identify the people pictured. Graphics must be camera-ready
or in electronic form. We can also create graphics for you, given
an idea of what you need.
