The presence of pharmaceuticals, personal care products, and other emerging contaminants in source waters and drinking water is of growing concern. Utilities across the country are identifying compounds like1,4-Dioxane and PFC concentrations above health advisory levels (HALs) more and more frequently.  Conventional water treatment processes are not effective at the removal of these constituents.  Two presentations will be given covering multiple case studies that involve the evaluation of advanced treatment processes for the removal of 1,4-Dioxane and PRCs through bench-scale, pilot-scale and full-scale testing.
