Tiered Registration Fees
(Revised March, 2001)
All Section-sponsored workshops and seminars shall charge a Member
fee and a Non-Member fee. The differential fee shall be $50.00.
Organization members' (utility, contractor, etc.) staff shall
be considered Members for registration purposes.
If a Non-Member resides or works in Virginia and decides to join,
he/she shall be entitled to full one-year membership as an operations/administrative
or active member, provided primary membership is held in the Virginia
Section. The membership category will be determined by the Membership
Committee Chair. A Non-Member joining as an Organization Member
shall receive $50 credit to the appropriate membership fee.
The following notice will appear on each workshop or seminar
brochure:
The non-member fee differential of $50.00 may be applied to the
membership fee of a non-member whose primary membership will be
in the Virginia Section.
UTILITY AND ORGANIZATION MEMBERS' STAFF ARE EXEMPT FROM NON-MEMBER
FEE.
Each registration form would require the following
information:
Member ( ) #________________
Organization Member ( ) Type__________________
#________________
Non-Member ( )
This program does not require anyone to join AWWA; and, the only
additional work is for the Section Administrator to forward the
information to the Membership Chair.
The process then proceeds as follows:
a. Membership Chair (or designated rep) advises attendee of right
to receive one-year membership (operations/administrative or active)
and requests that application be filled out and returned to the
Section Administrator. The individual will be advised that the
designated membership grade can be upgraded by payment of the
differential membership fee, payable to Virginia Section AWWA.
b. The application with designated membership or upgraded classification,
along with a check for the differential fee of an upgraded membership,
is returned to the Section Administrator. A check is written and
sent to Denver with the application.
Should the application not be returned to the Section Administrator,
the process is ended. If a membership is applied for, the Membership
Chair should keep a record so that an individual would not use this
process to update his membership each year. It is to be a one-time
membership only. |
