Contracts
(Revised December, 2005)
The Committee Chair must submit all contracts through the Section
Administrator to the Section Secretary for approval and signature,
with a copy to the appropriate Council Trustee. If the Secretary
determines that there is a significant change in the contract
over past years, he/she will notify the Board of Trustees.
When watercraft are to be involved, the contract must be accompanied
by a liability insurance certificate of the company stating that
AWWA and Virginia Section AWWA are named as additional insureds
for the function being booked. NOTE: The Section should, from
time to time, confirm that this remains the policy of AWWA.
If a credit application is required, it should be forwarded to
the Section Administrator for completion.
All contract proposals forwarded to the Section Secretary shall
include the Committee Chair's initials and/or written confirmation
that he/she has read and agrees to the terms.
Upon contract execution, the Section Secretary will scan and mail
electronic copies to the contracting parties, Section Administrator,
respective Section Trustee and Committee Chair. |
