How to Advertise a Job Opening on the VA AWWA Website

Employment advertising is available only for positions located within the Commonwealth of Virginia, and positions must be relevant to the drinking water field. There is no charge for this service.

You may send your advertisement as text or as an MS Word attachment. Please limit the length of the announcement to 300 words or less. Hyperlinks may be included, but no graphics will be posted. Also, please note that this job posting service is entirely a volunteer operation, and while we will endeavor to post your announcement on the website within a week of receiving it, we cannot guarantee this timeframe.

Employment openings will be posted on the website until the closing date. If there is no closing date, the opening will automatically be posted for 60 days. We will gladly extend the posting beyond 60 days at the request of the advertiser; however, it is the advertiser's responsibility to contact VA AWWA to request an extension. VA AWWA also requests that advertisers contact us if posted positions are filled within 60 days.
