The Water Utility Committee of VAAWWA has identified two bills that may be of concern to members and are in need of immediate action. Senate Bill 884 will affect water impoundments throughout the Commonwealth and will add costs and requirements that are of little or no benefit. House Bill 1823 is a procurement related bill that we believe will require the use of the State's eVA website, possibly adding to the cost of goods and services, along with other problems with existing systems.
