The Publications Committee is tasked with publishing the Section magazine Tap Into Virginia on a quarterly basis. The committee is responsible for selecting a theme for each edition, developing and editing articles, photographing VA AWWA events, and other tasks required to generate an informative and interesting publication. In addition to water-related feature articles, each issue of the Magazine includes ection news, such as: information on committee activities, special events (seminars, workshops and conferences), scholarship announcements, member news, utility news, regulatory news, calls for papers, and updates on Section business.

What should you expect as a VA AWWA Publication Committee Member:
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Quarterly review of articles for the magazine (this involved all members of the committee)
- Montly review of articles for the e-newsletter (one committee member is assigned per month)
